Crucibles
Ceramic crucibles are used in applications where heat and corrosion resistance are essential. Typically, in chemical and thermal analysis and in the production of chemicals, metals and glasses.

Depending on the size and material used, they can be made by slip casting, injection moulding, or chemical vapour deposition. If required, some crucibles can be coated on the inside to further enhance performance.

Thermal Analysis
Special high tolerance crucibles are used in DTA, DSC &
TGA analysis

Evaporation
Crucibles are used as evaporation sources for evaporating metals and thin film coatings

Melting metal and glass

Analysis
Special porous ceramic crucibles are used for measuring
sediment in oil
